A house designed for a polyamorous family
Residential project in year 2. A house designed for a polyamorous family based on the novels of science fiction author Ursula le'Guin, where the human population is divided into day and night people. The family constellation is intricate - it consists of four adults (two men and two women, and one day and night person of each sex) and four children. Intimate relations between sexes are considered comme-il-faut, but not accepted between day and night people.
The heart of the house is the vast living- and dining room where the whole family can gather. It is open in two directions through a wood structure and the strong sun from south is filtered through the foliage in the conservatory
